This year, ring in the new year and still make it home for bedtime. Northern Utah has plenty of New Year’s Eve celebrations that are perfect for families with kids—they even come with games, hats and food.

Dave & Busters Family New Year’s Eve Bash
The event page on D&B’s website lists arcade games, simulators, a kid-friendly banquet and an early countdown — all starting at 4 p.m. Space is limited, so get tickets soon.

Treehouse Museum Annual New Year’s Celebration
Treehouse Museum is a must-visit spot for kids in northern Utah, and New Year’s is the perfect time to go. The museum’s website promises party hat crafts, a chance to write your resolution and a countdown to noon, along with magic shows at three different times.

Park City Library NOON Year’s Eve Party
Head to Park City for fresher air and a free New Year’s celebration at the library. The website lists crafts, dancing, music and a countdown to noon with the necessary noisemakers.
