In 2009, a mother’s desire to comfort her hospitalized daughter inspired what would become Minky Couture. Founder Sandi Hendry created a blanket unlike any other, one that combined luxurious softness with the warmth, security, and reassurance her family needed during a difficult time.
That single act of love grew into one of Utah’s most recognized brands, distinguished by creative design, exceptional craftsmanship, purposeful innovation, and a deep commitment to giving back. From pioneering the original four-way stretch Hugs blanket to creating opportunities for local at-home seamstresses and donating thousands of blankets through the Heart of Minky program, every decision is rooted in purpose.
