Salt Lake magazine’s Women Who Move Utah special section is an acclaimed and respected part of our September/October issue. Over the years, we have profiled and spotlighted successful women business leaders and owners across the state of Utah. Here, they share insights into their entrepreneurial journeys so others like them can follow their leads.

For Christine Ivory, building a better future begins long before the foundation is poured on a new home. It begins with creating communities where families can thrive, children can learn, and people have the opportunity to build meaningful lives.
As part of the Ivory Homes legacy, Christine has seen firsthand the connection between housing, stability, and opportunity. While the company has helped shape Utah communities for generations, her passion extends beyond the walls of a home through the Clark and Christine Ivory Foundation, where her work focuses on education, housing, and sustainability, with a particular emphasis on early childhood literacy.
“We love housing and education. We love Utah and want the residents to thrive,” Christine explains. “Home ownership is critical. It’s a saving mechanism and puts people on a life-changing path.”
For Christine, that same sense of opportunity starts in the classroom. Through the foundation’s focus on childhood literacy, she hopes to support the next generation by encouraging families to prioritize reading and recognizing the essential role educators play in children’s lives.
Her passion for education is personal. Christine’s mother was a teacher, and she credits her with shaping her understanding of leadership, compassion, and service.
For Christine, legacy is not about recognition. It is about kindness, thoughtful action, and creating a lasting impact on the people and communities around her. That same commitment has shaped the work of Ivory Homes, where thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and a focus on connected communities have remained central to the company’s mission for generations.
