GODALUPE: Short Film Screening

Godalupe, a short film by current UMOCA Artist-in-Residence Sara Serratos, follows a transformative journey through the mystical landscapes of the Mayan lands, where the protagonist escapes her daily life and embraces change. As she explores these sacred places and reconnects with her origins, she gains a series of powers. Her journey culminates in the purifying waters of a cenote, where she undergoes her final transformation—emerging as a goddess.

Godalupe will be screened on a loop in the UMOCA Auditorium on Saturday, February 15, 2024. Drop in anytime between 11 am–6 pm.
