Who's WOO (Women Overcoming Obstacles)

SHEROES United, a group that recognizes role models who build a better tomorrow for the women of today, held Who's WOO (Women Overcoming Obstacles) at the University of Utah Department of Film and Media Art Auditorium on April 11. The group recognized the work of world-renowned poet Maya Angelou, and four female role models took the stage to talk about overcoming hardships, including author Bridget Cook, The Power Zone Coach Rene Johnson, Mrs. Wasatch Front Becky Swanson and Rebecca Musser, a former FLDS polygamist wife who testified against the sect in Utah, Arizona and Texas.
