Meet the Producers

Slow Food Park City held the third annual Meet the Producers, where local farmers, ranchers, cheese makers and other food producers share samples and talk food, at Swaner EcoCenter on March 18. The event featured 32 producers, and guests more than doubled from last year. New producers at the event this year included a pig farm and three new cheese makers, along with a company making honey caramels and one making pine syrup from blue spruce trees. Restaurants 350 Main, Escala Provisions Company and The Farm were also at the event, serving guests soup made with locally-sourced ingredients.
