Silver Spurs Gala

Volunteers of America, Utah held their annual Silver Spurs Gala at The Gathering Place at Gardner Village on Sept. 28. The evening paid special tribute to The Daniels Fund, which provides grants and scholarships in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. The fund is named for Bill Daniels, a pioneer in cable TV known for helping those in need. Guests at the event enjoyed dinner, live and silent auctions and live music. Volunteers of America is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 10,000 people in the state with programs addressing homelessness, substance abuse and domestic violence.
