2010 Santa Run/Light Parade

More than 600 Santas ran Washington Avenue for the annual Ogden Santa Run 5K, followed by the Holiday Electric Light Parade and Christmas Village lighting on Nov. 27. This year, five-year-old Cami Carver, who was nominated by Make a Wish Foundation, reigned as parade royalty and travelled the route in a horse-drawn carriage. The parade ended with an elaborate float carrying Santa Claus with his reindeer and sleigh. Mayor Matthew Godfrey recognized Carver and parade winners at a ceremony following the parade, just before fireworks lit up the sky and the Christmas Village lights were turned on.
