Wasatch Community Gardens held a salsa dance and food party at Fairpark Garden on Aug. 17. Guests at the event learned salsa dancing with Utah Ballroom Dance and Westside Dance Studio. Guests also enjoyed sampling salsa dishes by local artisans from Rico's, Rubio's and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Kids at the party had their faces painted, colored vegetables and participated in other fun activities. This was the seventh annual Salsa Party, which kicked off Tomato Days, a series of events in honor of the tomato growing season.
