SB Dance's Of Meat and Marrow at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center kicked off on June 8 and an after party followed the opening-night performance. The group, which incorporates theater, movement, circus and sculpture into performances, put on the original show about corpses and what's done with them through June 17. Scenes included bodies manipulated on an autopsy table, hung from hooks and even going through bad cases of reincarnation. About 180 guests stayed for the after party to discuss the show and chat with the artists. Board president and Takashi owner, Tamara Gibo, and director and choreographer Stephen Brown's wife, Tracey, who's a wine broker with Vinelore, provided food and beverages. SB Dance is currently planning their dining fundraiser, WTF! (wine, theater, food), which will take place Dec. 1.
