Mud Run MS Utah

Runners came from all over Utah to help raise $50,000 for multiple sclerosis research and run through the mud at Miller Motorsports Park at the National MS Society Utah-Southern Idaho Chapter's inaugural Mud Run MS Utah on Aug. 13. Runners had to overcome more than 20 boot-camp-style obstacles along the 10K course, including swinging across mud pits, crawling through wet dirt and sliding down a 30-foot slide into a puddle of mud. The Tooele Fire Department was on hand to hose off runners after they finished.
Most runners registered in the DGAP (Don't Give a Poop) division, but others singed up for the course competition. Here are this year's winners:
Top Team of Two: Bryan and Tammy Asher (Tooele, UT), 1:26:25
Top Individual Men: 1. Cody Butler (West Valley, UT), 0:57:37; 2. Seth Porter (Tooele), 0:59:43
Top All Female Team: 1. Team Mudbusters (Park City, UT), 1:09:42; 2. Team Honey Does This Mud Make Me Look Fat? (Stansbury Park, UT), 1:39:40
