The Livestock and Heritage Festival honored Cedar City's agricultural heritage with the sheep parade on Main Street and festivities at the Cross Hollows Events Center from Oct. 29 to 31. Parade-goers lined the streets to watch more than 1,000 sheep move from summer ranges on the mountains to winter ranges in the valley. Guests also enjoyed cowboy poetry, Dutch oven cooking, and a vintage car show. Iron County 4H hosted Halloween activities for the kids, and Grammy-nominated singer Don Edwards performed. The event closed with a non-denominational gathering for spiritual poetry and songs at the Cedar Livestock Market.
