This is the Place Heritage Park offered old-fashioned fun at Liberty Days, the park's 4th of July celebration. Guests could enter a watermelon eating contest, stick horse races and tug-of-war games. Kids enjoyed pony rides, train rides, along with staged train robberies, panning for gold and gathering up candy launched from a cannon. The park debuted its new splash area, Irrigation Station, to give kids a place to cool off, and guests also browsed the park's 50 historic homes and Native American Village.
