The Visa Women's Ski Jumping Team celebrated women's ski jumping becoming a new Olympic sport at their Join the Journey benefit at a $10 million house on Park City's Glenwild golf course on July 15. Guests showed their support and enjoyed gourmet food from Park City restaurants and music by singer Elodie Tomlinson. The auction included high-end items like a private meal for 10 by Log Haven Chef Dave Jones and a packed weekend in San Francisco with dinner, lodging, deluxe bike rentals across the Golden Gate Bridge and two tickets to a 49ers football game. Guests could also sponsor one of the nine athletes to receive a package full of team merchandise. The event was an overwhelming success, and funds raised will help send four athletes to the inaugural International FIS World Cup this December.
