2010 JANS Winter Welcome

The Youth Sports Alliance held the JANS Winter Welcome to support winter sports programs and 13 youth winter sports teams at Deer Valley's Silver Lake Lodge on Oct. 23. Swimming gold medalist Summer Sanders hosted for about 325 guests, and auctioneer/comedian Larry Wilson helped boost proceeds to $270,000. Hot auction items included a trip for four to Jamaica at the luxury Round Hill with first class airfare and a trip to a four-bedroom villa at Capella Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas—both sold for $12,000. Winter Olympians Shannon Bahrke, Brett Camerota, Bryon Wilson and Billy Demong were also honored at the event.
