International Women's Day

The Girl Scouts of Utah hosted an International Women’s Day event to celebrate women’s achievement in Utah and around the world at the Grand hall at The Gateway on March 3. Philanthropist and Girl Scout volunteer Nancy Giles was named Girl Scouts of Utah 2011 Distinguished Alumna, and more than 400 guests enjoyed international wines and exotic foods. The event was a success and generous support from sponsors and attendees along with proceeds from a silent auction will benefit the Girl Scouts of Utah’s STEM programming, which allows girls to explore interests and career paths in science, technology, engineering and math.
