The Huntsman Cancer Foundation raised more than $54,000 to battle cancer and honored the last day of cancer survivor Jeff Warren's annual bike ride from Reno, Nev. to SLC with their own rides, the Huntsman 140 and Huntsman 40 on June 18. The former started in Delta with 81 riders and the latter in Saratoga Springs with 45 riders. Huntsman 140 riders had the option to break the ride up among a group of riders for a relay. Both ended at the doors to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, where supporters watched Warren and other riders come over the horizon and under the balloon arch finish line. Six-year-old sarcoma survivor Echo Hayes rode in the last few miles of the race and celebrated with her doctor and others who've gone through similar cancer treatment. Once riders caught their breath, they enjoyed food from Johnny Kolache. This was Warren's 10th year riding from Reno and the first year of the foundation's non-competitive rides.
