Clark Planetarium Gala

Clark Planetarium raised more than $107,000 for science education programs serving Utah schools at the Distant Galaxy gala on Sept. 22. About 200 guests arrived at the planetarium for silent and live auctions and food from local caterers and restaurants, along with screenings of the Led Zeppelin Cosmic Light Show and the Hubble 3D IMAX film. Alpline Garrison Organization members came dressed as Star Wards characters, and guests were also encouraged to dress up for a costume contest. Dave Hellberg dressed as Thor and won the award for best male costume, and Mary Beth Clark dressed as Commander Deanna Troi from Star Trek.
