Art Meets Fashion 2011

Art Meets Fashion, presented by (a)perture, showcased Utah's top fashion designers and artists at a historic SLC warehouse transformed into a dynamic art space on Oct. 15. The event, which benefitted the YWCA of Salt Lake, featured a fashion show and a curated art exhibit titled Deconstructing Venus for 400 guests. Original art by John Bell and a photo piece by Zuzanna Audette sold, and designer Shelly Huynh of Orchid Dynasty impressed guests with her floral designs in the fashion show. The event also featured acoustic music by Cameron Runyan from the Devil Whale, Garrett Williams, Lake Island, Aaron Ashton, Pablo Blaqk, Joesf Castor and Jo Blake. Aerial Arts of Utah and 11th House Productions also performed, and Salt Lake magazine showcased tasting stations from local restaurants and wine pairings by Odom Spirits West.
