Alta Torchlight Parade

Skiers followed Alta's main cat track to Wildcat Base with lit torches for the Torchlight Parade on New Year's Eve. It was a clear and starry night, setting an ideal stage for the annual event. With no formal start time for the parade, skiers skied down the mountain throughout the night and enjoyed a fireworks show at the base. Instead of serving cocoa before the start of the parade, Alta made a contribution to the Utah Food Bank on behalf of skiers. Guests were able to warm up with food and drinks at the Slopeside Cafe.
