Over 3,000 locals with multiple sclerosis and their supporters braved the rain for the National MS Society Utah-Southern Idaho Chapter’s Walk MS, raising $227,000, at The Gateway on April 26. The event started with breakfast snacks and festivities at the Olympic Legacy Plaza fountain, followed by a three-mile walk with a one-mile option. Money raised at the event supports programs and research to give hope to more than 6,000 people in our community living with MS.
For those who missed the walk because of the rain, a make up day will be held on Thursday, May 1 at 5:30 p.m., starting at the Tracy Aviary parking lot in Liberty Park.
