The Grand American served dinner, and the Rotary honored the leaders of the charities and showcased a program highlighting their work. The Chili Open Family Festival was held the next day at Wheeler Farm and included a golf tournament, kids festival and chili cook-off. This year's Chili Open events raised $235,000.
This year's beneficiaries included the Carmen B. Pingree School for Children with Autism, Cancer Wellness House, People Helping People, Reach Out and Read Utah, Splore, Teen Challenge New Hope House and The Sharing Place.
