Deer Valley Celebrity Skifest

Deer Valley's Celebrity Skifest raised $500,000 for the Waterkeeper Alliance at the resort from Dec. 7–10. The highlight of the weekend, the CBS Celebrity Skifest Race, featured four teams of Olympians and celebrities in a downhill race tournament on Dec. 8 and broadcast on CBS the next day. The winning team was led by former World Cup alpine ski racer Steve Mahre and included actors Dylan Bruno, Hill Harper, Perrey Reeves and writer and human rights activist Kerry Kennedy. Later that night, guests were treated to a concert, dinner and live and silent auctions. A special PRO-AM race was held the next day with sponsors, celebrities and Olympians competing.
This year's celebrities included Julie Benz, Dylan Bruno, Eric Close, Tim Daly, Larry David, Trevor Donovan, Giancarlo Esposito, Bobby Farrelly, Hill Harper, Rachael Harris, Cheryl Hines, Kerry Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Matthew Morrison, Rob Morrow, Diane Neal and Julia Ormond.
