Tucked into the hillside above Red Butte Garden, new architectural wonder the Natural History Museum of Utah opens to the public on Nov. 18 with free admission for those with reservations. But the building and its design are just the tip of the neolithic spear, as it were. The museum’s extensive collection of geological wonders, cultural artifacts, flora, fauna and paleontological exotica was once packed into the old building on Presidents Circle. Now, the museum's collection will be on spectacular display in a state-of-the-art research museum with room to grow. Read More
