Aspiring actors, here's your break. 

Pygmalion Theatre Company will be holding auditions for three productions of the the 2014-2015 season, and anyone is welcome to join.

The first audition is for Hellman V. McCarthy by Brian Richard Mori on Tuesday, July 29, from 6–10 p.m. at Studio B at the Rose Wagner Theatre. The play, which goes on stage Feb. 26–March 14, is a dark and clever comedy about the Lillian Hellman's $2.25 million slander lawsuit against fellow writer Mary McCarthy. Roles for four men are available. 

The next audition is for Spark by Caridad Svich on Thursday, July 31, from 6–10 p.m. in Studio B at the Rose Wagner. The play, which performs Oct. 30–Nov. 15, follows three sisters as they struggle to carry on following the aftermath of war. Roles for three women and two men are available. 

The final audition, for Mockingbird by Julie Jensen, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 2, form 3:30–7:30 p.m. at the Rose Wagner. The play, which performs April 16–May 2, follows an 11-year-old girl with Asperger’s Syndrome who must navigate a world full of color, emotion, and chaos alone after she loses her brother in a tragedy. Roles for five females and four males are available.

The Pygmalion Theatre Company, founded in 1995 by Nancy Roth and Reb Fleming, focuses on women’s issues, and can be found at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City.
