Start squawking.

Farming started moving back to the city a few years ago and to help you cultivate your own private back forty, Wasatch Community Gardens has organized Urban Garden and Farm Week, featuring all kinds of events and tours designed to enlighten budding gardeners, seasoned growers, backyard poultry keepers, apiarists and all kinds of earth-nerds.

You will have the opportunity to see and discuss urban homesteads, rainwater catchments, intensive gardening techniques, backyard livestock, bee keeping, season extending, unique garden spaces, permaculture and more.

Or even just those of us with nothing more than potted herbs.

Events  start Monday and include a FREE screening of the documentary Urban Roots, Urban Chicken Keeping Workshop, and of course - the tour to end all other garden tours - the Urban Garden and Farm Tour.
