Riley Culley is a 17-year-old senior at Bingham High School. He is big and strong and likes to make people laugh. He's also a football player who played a pivotal role in helping his undefeated team win the 5A Utah State Championship Title. Recently, he won a scholarship to play football at Dixie State University this fall. "Riley is a gentle giant," says his mom. "He's always looking out for the underdog." He tries to live by the motto espoused by his coach: "Good is not good enough," having it engraved in his class ring, along with the name of his grandfather who recently died of cancer.

Riley's life was changed forever on March 27, 2014 when he was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer. Instead of playing football with Dixie State, Riley will spend the next nine to 12months in and out of Primary Children's Hospital for chemotherapy treatments and surgery.

His family and friends teamed up with a number of local businesses to organize "Run for Riley," a benefit run filled with fun for the entire family.
