The quilts are back—not that they ever truly left.

The 11th annual Home Machine Quilting Show will be at the South Towne Expo Center May 8–10. Join them for a "Quilters' Symphony" of colors, fabrics, and styles, along with classes, competitions, vendors, unique exhibits and many quilts on display.

The 130 classes are for newbies and quilting veterans alike, taught by some of the nation’s best quilters and embroiderersThe quilt competition has more than $28,000 in prizes, and it’s open to any quilting guru to enter by April 11.

The 2014 Riley Blake Designs Fabric Challenge includes cash prizes and an auction benefitting ServiceMoves. ServiceMoves helps local battered women’s shelters, hospitals, refugee centers and the Utah Food Bank. Along with three other quilting challenges, there will be a special presentation by Judi Madsen of Green Fairy Quilts and lots of great deals on quilting supplies.
