Sign the kids up for Salt Lake Culinary Center's Junior Chefs classes.

The classes expand kids' palates beyond the usual mac and cheese and foster a lifelong love of healthy cooking. Just add the cooking classes to your list of after-school to-dos. Kids learn complete recipes, how to handle kitchen equipment and appropriate etiquette and manners.

Each recipe focuses on healthy eating, using local and fresh ingredients.

The classes include three age groups: 7–10, 10–14 and 14–17.
