It's not the holidays in SLC without The Grand America Hotel’s brunch and Angel Tree charity. It’s also a great time to give yourself a gift at the newly renovated Grand Spa. The spa has a modern aesthetic, setting a different tone than the hotel’s Old World feel.
At the renovated spa, you’ll find a new retail boutique with more products, a relocated 24-hour fitness center for hotel guests and a new yoga studio. Locker rooms feature steam rooms, dry saunas and showers, which include eight body spray heads and an overhead shower head. The salon features new manicure and pedicure stations, along with make up, hair-styling and drying stations and 18 service rooms. Couples can enjoy house-baked creme brûlée when they come for couples’ services. The spa also works with Salt of the Earth for the Blend Bar, where you can create a product for body treatments or wrap. During the holidays, Warm Apple Cider, a scent from Salt of the Earth, will be used in massages, manicures and pedicures.
Book an appointment at the Grand Spa, 555 S. Main Street, SLC, 801-258-6568, grandamerica.com.
Pick up the December 2013 issue of Salt Lake magazine for more ways to de-stress.
