Just like nature's colors change with the seasons, so do trends in makeup. As temperatures get cooler with the arrival of fall and winter, makeup trends start to heat up with shades of deep red, burnt orange and plum.

This year, we're seeing a lot of the same hues as last year, in red wine lips and plum eyeshadow and blush, but we're also taking a cue from fall foliage and embracing orange, especially in a foil finished metallic form. The overall minimal look is carrying over from summer, with nude lips, spidery lashes and subtle shadow or none at all.
