Tastemakers, Salt Lake magazine's premier food and wine tasting event, was a success for restauranteurs and patrons alike. The event took place on May 30 and 31 on Gallivan Avenue and at nearby restuarants. Each of the 28 restaurants featured at the event offered mouthwatering samples, and guests also enjoyed drinks and music by Conn Curran and the Rob Bennion Band.

New to this year's event was the VIP tent, which featured exclusive tastings and beverages.

Restaurants on Gallivan Avenue included local favorites like Dining Awards winners Caffe Niche and Silver, while VIP guests enjoyed special tastings from Roots Café, Frida Bistro, Saffron Valley and Aristo's. The nearby city stroll included Zy, J. Wong's and Caffé Molise. Pass holders also enjoy special discounts for visiting select restaurants in future months.
