Tastemakers 2013 is finally here! Below is everything you will need to know and more about our 2-day progressive food and wine event.
Date: Thursday May 30 Friday May 31
Time: 5–10 p.m.
Location: Gallivan Avenue - 239 South Main Street (just south and down the stairs from Gallivan Plaza, right next to KUTV)
Pass is good for both nights, and entitles you to one taste per restaurant.
The event is a go rain or shine.
This is A LOT of food. You will want to split it up and attend both nights.
A popular strategy is to go to the stroll restaurants one night and the pavilion restaurants the next night.
No substitutions, the tasting will be exactly as it is listed on the passport.
Ticket price: $30 regular pass, $75 VIP exclusive pass.
Tickets do sell out, so buy early.
As long as we have them, tickets will be for sale at the door.
We take credit cards, cash and checks at the door.
There will be ATM's in the Pavilion.
Parking is available underneith the Gallivan, or just south in the large parking garage. Limited street part is also available.
Yes, you can upgrade your pass to a VIP pass by paying the difference.
There is a very limited quantity of VIP passes. When they are gone, they are gone.
If you want to drink wine, you must have your ID.
Non-alcoholic drinks (Coke, Diet Coke, Kristin Regale Sparkling Fruit Juice) are available for purchase in the pavilion.
Water is available for free.
Wine and beer is $5 a glass, non-alcoholic beverages are $2 a glass.
A portion of proceeds benefits Salt Lake Head Start.
