Five of Salt Lake's best mixologists (some of us prefer the term "bartenders") took the spotlight at last night's soiree presented by SLC Bites, which has returned to its business of gathering friends and foods in various combinations for the pleasure of all. Sean Neves of Wild Grape Bistro,

Ryan Manning of Takashi, Jimmy Santangelo of Copper Onion, Amy Eldredge of Bar X,

 

Scott Gardner of Finca/Pago

and Matt Pfohl of Pallet all poured a special springtime concoction.

Naked Fish,

Creminelli Fine Meats, Beehive Cheese 

and Mazza 

provided nibbles and Pop Art placed glass buckets of exotic popcorn around the room as the salty snack cocktails require.

Guests were dolled up in indie cocktail attire–Bermuda shorts and blazers, flowing chiffon, LBDs and stilettos, high-buttoned shirts and cigarette pants.

 

It was all very cool, lots of fun and, in general, the kind of event where peoplep are apt to say, as the highest compliment, "I don't even feel like I'm in Salt Lake!"
