Crossroads Urban Center works hard to help the underserved, including providing emergency food, diapers, infant formula, clothing and medicine to those in need. But this time the non-profit is the one asking for support:
Please come out out for “Beer, Blues & Brats,” at The Community Co-op, 1756 South 700 West, Salt Lake City, on Sunday, May 5 from 2 to 6 p.m.
The menu: Brats, a salad bar, and sides like baked beans, cole slaw and desserts
The beverage: Cold beer and non-alcoholic beverages.
The entertainment: Live music by The Number Ones and The Fourteenth Ward; belly dancing by Rubber Room School of Dance.
The cause: Crossroads Urban Center is a nonprofit, grassroots organization that helps disadvantaged Utahns with critical needs. The organization behind a thrift store, funds for emergency needs, holiday food distributions, the Anti-hunger Action Committee, the Coalition of Religious Communities and Utah’s busiest food pantryThe donation to attend is $45, and all proceeds benefit Crossroads Urban Center.
The cost: $45 a person
