It's more than the films and the lifts that pull A-listers to Park City every year for the Sundance Film Festival. There's also the dining, music and top-of-the line products in VIP swag bags. This year's festival was no exception.
At the 2013 festival, local business Resvology provided items for the swag bags full of high-end products. Based in Park City, the company launched a new line of anti-aging skincare treatment on Jan. 17, called the "Age Corrective" collection. The collection's three core products and the key to the formula were unveiled at the festival and are now available to the public.
Resvology was developed by cancer researchers at Brigham Young University and is the only skincare line containing the 4-AR molecule, which was proven in scientific tests to activate 85 key skin-related genes imperative to cell regeneration. Subjects of the studies report that Resvology helped visibly smooth wrinkles and lines in their skin, making it look and feel younger.
"The 4-AR molecule is a uniquely stabilized ester form of resveratrol . . . the youth molecule," says CEO Kevin Passey. "The molecule has been shown to increase gene activity, which means it works with your genes to keep skin cells acting younger and from getting older." The company holds the patent for the molecule, making it impossible for other companies to use.
"This spring Resvology plans to launch more from the Age Corrective line, including a brightening serum and day moisturizer SPF," Passey says. Toward the end of 2013, the company is planning to launch its Double Lift Neck and Decollete Cream, Multi-Perfector Skin Primer, Multi-Perfector CC Cream, Heavenly Snow Flower Face and Body Balm and Heavenly Snow Flower Lip Blam. "All of these products contain the 4-AR Molecule," Passey says.
