The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is inviting gradeschool students to celebrate Endangered Species Day, May 17, by entering a Youth Art Contest.
Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the Endangered Species Act protects the nation’s rarest plant and animal species.
The Youth Art Contest is an opportunity to learn about threatened and endangered species and express it through art. Entries must be postmarked by March 15. More information here.

Others, like the razorback fish or Coral Pink Sand Dunes Tiger Beetle, er, not so much. But it's the challenge, right, kids?
