In honor of Valentine's Day, Grub Steak Restaurant is preparing to dazzle patrons with a special prix fixe (meaning "fixed price") menu. In operation for 36 years, Grub Steak's Western style and hearty menu, featuring steaks, seafood and a 45-item salad bar, has been renowned since it opened its doors. They maintain their strive for excellence as the fast-approaching Valentine's season gives them cause to get creative.
“For nearly four decades, we’ve been committed to true craftsmanship at Grub Steak,” owner Hans Fuegi says of the fixed menu. “Whether you choose from our Valentine’s Day or daily dinner menus, we bring that same dedication to every meal, every night.”
The prix fixe menu will start with a choice of heart-of-romaine Caesar salad, wild rice and mushroom soup or Grub Steak’s famous salad bar. The entrée features a filet of grilled beef tenderloin, topped with Alaskan king crab meat, steamed asparagus and hollandaise sauce. And be sure to leave room for dessert: chocolate lava cake with fresh raspberries and vanilla ice cream.
In addition to the prix fixe menu, the full dining room menu will also be offered on Valentines Day.
