Tis' the season of love and romance. Valentine's Day is just around the corner and it's time to stop, right now, and ask yourself, "Where the heck am I going to take her?"

If you don't have any plans, we suggest Salt Lake Symphony's 27th Annual Vienna Ball several days beforehand.

On Feb. 9, the University of Utah Union Ballroom will be decorated and prepared to transport you to a lovely night in Vienna. Laugh, smile, and reminisce with the one you love as you enjoy a delicious sit-down meal together, and listen to beautifully-orchestrated music by Salt Lake Symphony and the Mark Cheney Jazz Trio. And, what would this night be like without dancing?

Not feeling confident? No worries—swing dance expert, Margene Anderson, will be providing dance lessons at 6:30 p.m. before the ball begins. Here, you can freshen up on moves you already know or learn new ones to try on the dance floor. Time will also be alloted to the BYU Ballroom Dance Team to provide you with more entertainment.

A silent auction is planned for the evening, and the night will be emceed by KUER's Steve Williams. Reserved seating is $85, and general admission is $60.

You can purchase your tickets at brownpapertickets.com or by calling 1-800-838-3006.

When: Feb. 9, 8 p.m.–12 a.m. (dance lessons at 6:30 p.m.)
