Less than a year after opening its doors, City Creek Center is already receiving worldwide attention. The center was named "Best Retail Development, USA" on Dec. 7 during the International Property Awards for 2012.

This award considered establishments across North, Central and South America. City Creek also received a top-three-ranking among more than 2,000 entries in 89 countries for the "World's Best Retail Development" category.

Michigan-based Taubman Centers manages City Creek and co-developed the center with City Creek Reserve, Inc., a private real estate company The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints owns.
