Don’t forget this month’s Gallery Stroll is happening on Friday, December 7 from 6 pm to 9pm. As everyone gets in to the holiday spirit, many of the galleries are hosting group shows where you can find one-of-a-kind, locally made gifts for all the people on your list.

The atmosphere at Slusser Gallery will put you in a festive mood. Drop by and enjoy the live music and hours d’ oeuvres. While you’re there browse their latest show, which includes smaller paintings by well-known artists from Utah and California.

More than 50 artists are participating in the annual holiday craft exhibit and sale at Finch Lane Gallery. You can pick up handmade scarves, pottery, wall hangings, jewelry, and more. If you’re still looking for the right holiday greeting cards, they also have a selection letterpress cards.

Nox Contemporary is hosting The Herb and Dorothy Show. Local artist Hikmet Sidney Loe gave the group exhibition a great review here.

Pottery buffs should head over to Red Kiln Pottery. If you’ve ever wanted to see a pottery throwing demonstration, this is your chance. You might also find a mug that’s just right for hot chocolate.

With so many group shows, you’re sure to find something for everyone.
