Victoria Blackie

The world needs great role models in the music industry, and Victoria Blackie is just what we need. She is the real deal in country music. With a voice full soul and power, she brings back to country music what we thought was lost with the new breed of pop country singers. Representing the Navajo Nation with a gracious but strong personality, she expresses beauty through her songs, and looks good doing it.

Beauty Buff had the pleasure of talking with Blackie recently. We all have our beauty secrets and she shared her's with us:

Q. You’re always looking beautiful at your shows. What kind of makeup do you where when you sing?

A. "For performances, you have to cake on everything! Brighter lip stick, smokey eyes and long false lashes. I also use blush and dark bronzer to make my face look thinner."

Q. You must have a full schedule. How do you find time to take care of yourself?

A. "I work out at the gym at least three times a week. Once a week, I like to use TCA 12% Chemical Skin Peel, which helps remove wrinkles, lines, acne, scars, sun spots. I also use face scrub regularly (once or twice a week). It really is a must to wipe away moisturizing creams, lotions, makeup, etc."

Q: What are some other products you use most often?

A: “On a daily bases I use FIT by Maybeline. I also always carry Clean and Clear oil absorbing blotting paper to keep the shine away. Slap on some Femme Couture Monster Lash Mascara and Victoria Secret lip-gloss. And on the weekends I like to put on Ardell Lashes for the fun of it."
