Two things you definitely want to get your kids into: a show with all of their favorite Disney stars (tickets just went on sale) and a spooky writing class for the Halloween season.

That second one might end up benefiting you in the end if there ever really is a zombie invasion.

Disney on Ice Tix, Now on Sale

Disney has hired its largest Disney on Ice cast ever for its 100 Years of Magic celebration, coming to EnergySolutions Arena Nov. 14–18. Tickets for the event went on sale today.

Later this month, we’ll be interviewing a cast member from the show and actually covering the opening performance, so check back for more info.

If you’ve been to a Disney on Ice performance before, you know it’s a great time for the kids. You and the little ones can expect to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Buzz Lightyear and Woody, Nemo and Dory, Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket, Belle and The Beast and The Incredibles on the ice.

Tickets range from start at $16 and go up to $48.

Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse

We just got word on SLCC Community Writing Center’s spooky class for kids this October, Zombie Apocalypse: Writing Zombie Survival Guides. Ages seven to 14 will learn how to create their own survival guides (which will actually show them how to create clear, user-friendly manuals in general).

Class is Oct. 18 and 25 and costs $30 per head.
