I was talking to some friends the other day and the subject of Christmas came up. It feels so far away, but September is almost gone and we have only three more months until Santa Claus comes down the chimney with his boots full of snow.
Let’s not panic yet because we still have some time left to enjoy the great fall weather. To end this month in style we have a surprise for you: Every last Monday of the month we’ll talk about some of the best products out there that you can find here in Utah. Enough of suspense! The winners of the month are:
Rosa Arctica Eye Balm from Kiehl’s uses the “Resurrection Flower" aka Haberlea Rhodopensis. This flower can actually live in nature for over two years without water and should never be exposed to direct sun light, and it's Rosa Arctica Eye Treatment's special ingredient. The rich balm texture of this cream provides rejuvenation and revitalization for the eye area. You don’t need to apply a large amount, which is good because the package is small but will last long. The summer is over and now is the right time to take care of the skin and get rid of the damages left by the sun. Find this fall novelty at Kiehl's brand new store at Fashion Place Mall. ($46)
Another pick this month is one the most romantic perfumes out there: Cleopatra by Tocca. I was at Tabula Rasa browsing some new scents when I immediately fell in love with its adorable packaging and enchanting scent. Cleopatra is an excellent choice if you like woodsy, musky and mature scents. Very "Cleopatra" indeed! ($60)
Our last pick of the month won the award of Best Shine Enhancer by American Salon Magazine: It is the Outshine 01 Anti-Frizz Polishing Milk by Redken. Perfect for all kinds of hair, especially for curly, Outshine 01 is made with karite milk and it feels like a lotion on your hands. Apply just a small amount on your damp or dry hair before blow-drying for soft and shiny hair. Find Outshine 01 by Redken at Got Beauty. ($18)
