Trail Running for Intermediates

Ann’s Trail–Bonneville Shoreline–Clark’s Trail

Type: Loop
Distance: 10.2-mile loop

Formerly Draper Rim Trail, the main route was recently renamed in honor of Ann Parr, who was instrumental in developing much of the trail system that makes Corner Canyon a hotspot for outdoors enthusiasts. The path connects with Clark’s Trail and Bonneville Shoreline Trail to create a 10-mile loop that offers incredible views of the Salt Lake Valley.

Runners share the trail with horses and bikers, but the brushy slopes and stream-fed pond that mark this connection between Little Valley and Corner Canyon are a worthwhile trade-off for manure and downhillers. Elevation gains are about 1200 vertical feet but still relatively moderate.

Getting there: Exit at 14600 South and turn left under I-15, where the road turns into Highland Drive. Continue on Highland Drive until you reach Traverse Ridge Road. Turn right, and continue past Mike Weir Drive until you reach Potato Hill trailhead on your left.
