For the second straight Monday, Red Butte Garden is hosting a throw-down type concert. This week, it's the old-school, yet new wave, stylings of The B-52s. Throw in the English rockers Squeeze and you've got what could be one of the best nights of the summer on tap. Check out Dan Nailen's blog, Lounge Act for more on this show.

On Tuesday night, fans of fun, interesting rock sounds have two choices: Either head for The B-Side Players at The State Room for an 8 p.m. gig. Tickets are going for $12. Click here to get them.

You can also check out Dan's blog for info on The Beach Boys' return to Utah for the America's Freedom Festival. But if that's not your type of music, stay closer to home Wednesday night to see the Bees are home at Spring Mobile Ballpark for a 7:05 p.m. game against Tacoma. After the ball game, the park will also host a tremendous fireworks show.
