Beginning June 21, Library Square will be transformed into a four-day wonderland of imagination with special exhibits, 159 artist booths, workshops and displays, as the 2012 Utah Arts Festival sets up shop, fostering community and promoting creative talent.

The creativity isn't limited to just artwork.

On five stages, and playing from a variety of musical genres, this year's festival will incorporate 13 national headliners and 66 local musical acts. Theater performances will take to the streets with amusements including sand sculpture, break dancing and puppetry. Several dance performances are slated for the event as well as a short films project.

The Utah Arts Festival has something especially spectacular in store for kids. The Art Yard will be filled with on-site sculptures, make-and-take projects, musical instruments and fun for all who venture inside.
