When it comes to social media and pets the paws-ibilities are endless (yeah, we know that's cheesy).
But if your animal companion has any sort of online presence or you just adore pets, the BlogPaws Conference, from June 21–23 at the Sheraton Salt Lake City might be worth checking out.
“You can come to meet like-minded people or just for fun. The atmosphere is electric,” says Carol Bryant, PR Manager for BlogPaws. You'll also have your chance to get caught up on the latest social media trends, find out what to look for in vet or learn how to start promoting your own furry friend.
The agenda includes celebrity guests like Kenn Bell, the man behind Animal Planet’s Hero Dogs of 9/11 and Betsy Saul, Co-founder of Petfinder.com. Bell is hosting a master class on how to create engaging pet videos and Saul is the Keynote Speaker. Tillman, a pup who holds the Guinness World Record for Fastest Skateboarding Dog, will also appear at the conference.
BlogPaws kicked off in 2009 and its been growing ever since. The organization has formed an online community and support network for pet bloggers, pet writers and pet enthusiasts. They also believe in giving back to the community and showing others how to do the same. BlogPaws has donated more than $35,000 in cash and pet supplies to various charities.
Bryant says every year she attends, the conference leaves feeling rejuvenated and inspired by what she has learned. Registration is currently open and pets are welcome to attend.
