March is the snowiest month at Snowbird. With the mad snow from last week, Snowbird is planning a lot of exciting events this month, plus they're offering a stay-and-ski package for $99 (see below).

The Steve Young Ski Classic

Former San Francisco 49er Steve Young will headline a group of NLF players and Olympians in a fun ski race at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17. It's free to watch at Snowbird's Entry 1 or 2. In the evening, there will be silent and live auctions in support of Wasatch Adaptive Sports. Call 801-933-2188 for reservations.

Subaru Freeskiing World Tour

The best skiers in the world come together to the most challenging venues to compete for cash and prizes from March 13 to 17. Hugo Harrison and Manuel Gaidet have won the tour multiple times, and Julien Lopez, Arne Backstrom and Drew Table have been some of the recent winners. A valid lift ticket and ski or snowboard equipment is required to access the spectator area. Visit Snowbird's website for the daily schedule.
