Check out our post about covering the National Ability Center's Red, White & Snow event from March 8 to 10. We'll be getting photos for our online galleries and Utah People section from the event, so we expect to see you there.

And this week on Thursday, March 1, we'll be covering another event in Park City.

Meet the Producers

Slow Food Park City and Swaner EcoCenter are giving you the chance to meet local food producers and purveyors—meaning farmers, bakers, ranchers and more. You'll learn about locally produced meats, produce, eggs, bread, cheese and more. Best of all, it's completely free.

Come hungry, and bring some cash to take home artisan foods.

Here are the local producers at Meet the Producers:

Artemisia Farms, Beehive Cheese, Bell Organic Farms, Butcher's Bunches, Canyon Meadows Ranch, Clifford Farms, Copper Moose Farm, Creminelli Fine Meats, Drake Family Farms, Edible Wasatch, Heber Valley Milk, Heritage Valley Poultry, Jacob's Cove, Kiler Grove Winegrowers, Liberty Heights Fresh, LuAnn's Cupcakes, Morgan Valley Lamb, Ranui Gardens, Recycle Utah, Red Bicycle Breadworks, Sadee's Pride, Snowy Mountain Sheep Creamery, Summit Community Gardens, Summit County Beef, Tagge's Famous Fruit, Yee-haw Pickle Company, Zoe's Garde

The evening will also offer drawings for gift certificates from No Place Like Home, wine totes from MCM Productions and gifts from Recycle Utah.

So drop by, meet some of your local food producers and have your photo taken by our superstar photographer Francie Aufdemorte.

Francie will also cover the Girl Scouts of Utah International Women's Day celebration on March 8. Be there, so we can see you in the magazine. Click here for more info on the event.
